We're due any day with our first baby, and since I haven't been able to do so many of my favorite things…or enjoy them with my fantastic husband…I would LOVE to pack our sleeping bags on the chopper, ride out into the desert, and campout. A fire with s'mores would be icing on the cake. Oh…and an ice cold beer! Baby girl would be safe at home with a loved one, of course!

Our ideal date used to be going to the boardwalk on the beach when we used to live in Florida. Since we've moved to Yuma, we love going to Julianna's Restaurant for the live jazz and great food. Although, karaoke is always another fun option!

Thanks for providing these for moms, as we all work hard and need a little pampering.Here is my entry in story form-Once upon a time there was this mom, let's call her Mrs. Cleans Alot and her husband was deployed on his 5th deployment overseas. She has two boys, ages 11 and 6 years old. They're great boys, but make messes, don't flush the toilets, and sometimes don't do their chores. One night Mrs. Cleans A lot is just exhausted, so between laundry and dishwashing cleaning cycles, she takes a quick nap on the couch.(this is the dream that she has)Her hunky and incredbile Marine, lets call him Mr.AV8B arrives home and says, "Hon, you are such an amazing mom, woman, and incredible person that you deserve a romantic date getaway. He explains the details of their romantic interlude and mid sentence he says, "I bought you a little gift and he pulls an AVON bag out of his flight bag." Mrs. Cleans Alot opens it and is SO excited to see that it's the BRAND new Eternal Magic perfume that all her friends have been raving about. She sprays some on her neck and wrist. Mr. AV8B takes a whiff and can hardly contain himself and attacks Mrs. Cleans Alot and ravishes her……. then her youngest child shockingly brings her back to reality screaming, "Mom, I just dumped red juice all over the couch and carpet."Right now that's about as close to a romantic getaway this mama is getting, but would LOVE to try to the new cologne as I'm sure it's awesome and would make this Mrs. Cleans Alot smile! I hope my story made you smile. : )

I normally plan date night and even normally drive.That being said with my hubby currently deployed, I think I'd let him pick whatever he wanted to do as I miss him BIG! I think if he could pick a romantic date it would involve going to a bar for beer and bar food, sitting on those (uncomfortable) bar stools and then maybe go to or rent an action/shot em' up movie.That would be totally COOL with me and that's probably what we'll do when he returns.
