I’m not a huge germaphobe, but hand sanitizer can be so great with kids. Sinks aren’t always available AND when my oldest was potty training and my youngest wasn’t standing, I couldn’t hold the baby and lift my oldest up to reach the sink. Okay, well I could have held the 2 kids, but I was missing that third and fourth hand necessary to help my oldest actually wash his hands while hoisted up to the sink
