Don’t have a pool out back? Your neighbors are mean and won’t invite you over? Don’t despair! The City has plenty of options for you this summer. Check out the Open Swim times below. Another (FREE!) way to cool off is to visit the splash pads at Friendship Park and Carver Park.
Valley Aquatic Center
The hours of summer operation of open swim at each of the City’s municipal pools are as follows:
Valley Aquatic Center – 4381 West 18th Street (read more about Valley Aquatic here)
June 4 – July 31: Tuesday through Sunday, 1:00 to 7:45 pm
August 6 – August 28: Saturday and Sunday only, 1:00 – 5:45 pm
Kennedy Pool – Kennedy Ln. and 23rd St.
June 4 – July 31: Tuesday through Friday, 1:00 to 3:45 p.m.
May 31 – August 3: Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 to 5:45 p.m.
(Closed July 4th)
Marcus Pool – 5th St and 5th Ave.
June 7 – July 28: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. – FREE!!!

Rent a Pool for Your Summer Party
Valley Aquatic Center, Carver, Kennedy and Marcus Pools are all available for rentals throughout the summer. The Valley Aquatic Center even has its own party room named “The Aquarium,” with an ocean-themed décor. For information about rates and availability, please contact the Parks & Recreation office.
