Storybook Lane Christmas Light Display

STORYBOOK LANE CHRISTMAS LIGHT DISPLAY 55th Street 4 - Yuma

This AMAZING (and free) activity is a great way to spend an evening with the family! Each home tells part of a holiday story with every kind of Christmas decoration, animation, lights, and twinkles imaginable.

You can park and walk the block-long display where, often times, the homeowners are passing out treats, popcorn, and hot chocolate!  You can also drive the street but BE PATIENT as many drivers proceed very slowly down the street so passengers can really soak up the experience (don’t forget to dim your lights). Dress the kids (and yourselves) warmly and enjoy!

The lights go on at dusk and stay on until 10:00 p.m. They remain lit until December 31st.

Directions:  55th Street, in the Foothills:  From the center of town, take I-8 East and exit at Foothills Blvd. Turn right off the exit. Drive about 2.7 miles and take a left onto 54th Street. Take the first right on Dorothy Drive. Take the second left on 55th Street.

This is an awesome event put on by a wonderful group of folks. We are from Michigan and we’ve had the honor of helping decorate and pass out candy. By far, the best Christmas display and lightning I’ve ever seen. Way to go 55th Street!! Mom (Sue) and dad (Den) your house looks amazing. Merry Christmas!

We walked this street for the first time last year….and we were in total amazement. What an amazing display each and everyone of you put on. We are Canadian snowbirds and this is one of our MUST when we come down.
Thank you all for sharing the spirit of the Christmas season.
    MERRY CHRISTMAS

I reside on 55th St. Thanks for the comments as we appreciate the positive reviews. Our official lighting dates are Thursday Dec.10th through Christmas Day. Our block is located between Montana Ave. and El Camino Del Diablo. Drive carefully as we experience large volumes of traffic and walkers. The best way to enjoy the total experience is to walk. We will be out each night greeting our visitors and handing out treats. There is also a good chance you will see a Jolly man dressed in red. “Merry Christmas to All”

Totally worth the drive! You definitely need to drive slowly to be able to read the signs and appreciate the details. We like to walk it with hot chocolate. Closer to Christmas Santa Claus is on hand, too!
