On Saturday December 9 AquaForce will be hosting a swim clinic led by Jason Lezak, a 4-time Olympian and 8-time medalist! He swam his whole life in Southern California from the age of 5 until he retired after the 2012 Olympics at the age of 36. He’s best known for his anchor swim on the 2008 4 x 100 freestyle relay which was voted by Sports Illustrated as the most memorable single performance by an American at the Beijing Games!
Jason has been doing swim clinics across the country and the world for the past 17 years, including over 200 since his retirement. The clinic will include a motivational talk, Question and Answer time, in the water teaching freestyle, backstroke, starts, and turns, as well as autographs and pictures with his medals! Each swimmer will receive a customized gift bag with a DVD, notebook, autograph card, and a Breakout Swim Clinic T-shirt.
Jason wants to help our swimmers to improve their technique, get them excited to work hard, dream big, swim fast, and most of all, HAVE FUN!
The clinic will be held at Marcus Pool from 8 a.m. until noon. The cost will be $25 for swimmers from the AquaForce and $50 for swimmers from any other USA swim teams or high school teams.
